What FFJ does for fellow Christians
True to the Great Commission of Jesus to His disciples and via them to every believer, Math. 4:19 … “I will make you Fishers of men! “
Mindful of the hesitance common to many ordinary Christians when it comes to witnessing to other people… this unique opportunity is presented to help them to become personal witnesses for Jesus Christ.
The basic principles used by the Lord Jesus Himself have been utilized and is presented in uncomplicated fashion to teach Christians to share their faith with others Simply, Effectively and Biblically.
Our prayer is that by sharing our personal faith in this manner, others will be convinced by the Holy Spirit to accept Jesus Christ as Redeemer and personal Savior.
Our presentations consist of:
• Applicable Bible study,
• DVD and Power-Point presentations
• Appropriate good quality music
• Group discussions
• Training in personal witnessing and the application of taught principles
Fishing for JESUS :
• Is Bible based with a Protestant-Evangelical point of departure.
• Is not linked to any specific denomination or church grouping.
• Does not involve itself with possible differences of dogma
between the different protestant traditions, but
• Restricts itself to the targeted area of primary importance, namely
every person’s connection to the Triune God of the Bible which
calls for a personal relation with the Lord Jesus Christ as
Redeemer and Savior.
• Aims to empower ordinary believers to fulfill the Great
Commission.
• Is not involved in inviting membership to any organization.
• Is a non-profit organization being privately financed.
An Unusual yet extremely To-the-Point Programme
As shown above Fishing for Jesus is an evangelical service movement without profit, aimed at the training and empowerment of ordinary believers to become “Fishers of Men” in obeying the Great Commission. Our very popular presentations are increasingly in demand for churches, schools, activity groups and cell groups to share with them and their communities our insights and our training.
Our presentations are either a one-day session (usually on a Saturday from 08h00 to 16h00) or can be presented by way of week-day sessions, normally in the evenings.
We make use of Power Point- as well as DVD
presentations and often there are relatively large groups involved.
Presentations are held in conference venues or even in open outdoor
spaces and therefore dependable sound and video equipment is needed.
Obviously
for a ministry that receives no financial backing by any church or
organization the obtaining and maintaining of the needed equipment is a
difficult hurdle to cross.
The equipment is used exclusively for the spreading of the gospel of Jesus Christ, to reach priceless souls and to lead them to Jesus.

- Is Bybels-gebaseerd met ‘n Protestants-Evangeliese vertrekpunt,• Is nie verbind aan enige spesifieke denominasie of kerkgroep nie,
- Beweeg nie op die terreine van moontlike leerstellige verskilpunte tussen die verskillende protestantse tradisies nie,
- Bepaal hom tot die primêr saakmakende terrein van elke mens se relasie tot die Drie-enige God van die Bybel deur ‘n persoonlike verhouding met Jesus Christus as Verlosser en Saligmaker,
- Wil gewone gelowiges toerus om die Groot Opdrag te help uitvoer,
- Is geen organisasie wat lede werf nie,
- Word privaat gefinansier.
Unieke dog baie aktuele program
- HENGEL VIR JESUS is `n uiters gewilde aanbieding en word oral deur Kerke, Skole, Hoër- en Laerskole, Aksiegroepe asook Selgroepe genooi om dit met hul gemeenskappe te kom deel.
- Die aanbieding wissel van `n eendag program, gewoonlik op Saterdae van 08h00 tot 16h00, tot `n week aanbieding wat dan gewoonlik in die aande aangebied word.
- Aangesien dit dikwels vir groot groepe aangebied word, is dit dus
