What we believe
- We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative, and inerrant Word of God (II Timothy 3:15-1, II Peter 1:21).
- We
believe there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: the
Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1, Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew
28:19, John 10:30).
- We believe in the
deity of Christ (John 10:33); His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew
1:23, Luke 1:34-35); His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15, 7:26); His miracles
(John 2:11); His vicarious and atoning death (I Corinthians 15:3,
Ephesians 1:7, Hebrews 2:9); His resurrection (John 11:25, I Corinthians
15:4); His ascension to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19); His
personal return to earth in power and glory (Acts 1:11, Revelation
19:11-16).
- We believe in the absolute
necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of
the exceeding sinfulness of the human nature, and that all are justified
on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ, and that
only by God’s grace through faith alone are we saved (John 3:16-19;
5:24, Romans 3:23; 5:8-9, Ephesians 2:8-10, Titus 3:5).
- We
believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those who
are saved unto the resurrection of life, and those who are not unto the
resurrection of damnation (John 5:28-29).
- We
believe in the spiritual unity of the believers in our Lord Jesus
Christ (Romans 8:9, I Corinthians 12:12-13, Galatians 3:26-28).
- We
believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by Who’s indwelling
the Christian is enabled to live a godly life (Romans 8:13-14, I
Corinthians 3:16, 6:19-20, Ephesians 4:30; 5:18).
- We
believe that we as Christians are examples of the love of God in this
world. It is this (agape) love that we desire to possess and without
which we have no right to call ourselves Christians (I John 4:16-17).
- We believe it is the mandate of the whole Church to go into the entire world and to preach the Gospel to every living creature. (Mark 16:15, Matthew 28:19-20)
How to Become a Christian…
Many people are looking for God… If you’re one
of those people, we’d like to share with you that the Bible has what you
are seeking. It contains answers to life’s vital questions, and — most
important — can help you understand how to have a right relationship
with God… Here are some selected verses:
- God Loves You
John 3:16“For
God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever
believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.“
Romans 5:8“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.“
- All Are Sinners
Romans 3:23 “… for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.“ In Romans 3:10, it is written: “There is no one righteous, not even one.“
- God’s Remedy for Sin
Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.“John 1:12“Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.“
- All May Be Saved Now
Revelation 3:20“Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.“Romans 10:13“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ John 20:31 “But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.“
- Receive Christ as Your Saviour Now… Pray the Following Prayer:
“God, I confess that I am a sinner, and I believe that Your Son, Jesus Christ died and paid for my sins on the cross. I believe that He was raised from the dead. I believe that He is the only way to You. I now receive my new life and confess Him to by my personal Saviour. Amen“
- Seek a Church
After making your decision to receive Christ, we encourage you to prayerfully seek a local Bible-believing church that will assist you in growing as a new Christian. 11 Peter 3:18“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen“
- Find Assurance as a Believer
Romans 10:9 “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord’, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For
it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is
with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. John 5:24 24 “Very
truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes Him who sent me
has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death
to life.“
